These adorable penguins seem to be parading by bringing Joy, gifts, and maybe a chuckle or two. Their little expressions seem to range from determination to bewilderment as they pull along their Holiday presents in a snowy blizzard.

While making this card the little penguins made me smile as I cut them apart and posed them around the raised gift boxes. I especially like the one popping out of the gift box--seems he's the "look-out" or navigator. And the little one trailling behind needs his hand held so he doesn't get lost...the other two are decked out in Santa hats.
After the card was stamped with Presents of Joy, I added falling snow using an embossing folder and white pigment ink lightly swiped onto the raised snow pattern. After the ink dries add diamond glitter glue to the snow dots. The gifts were paper pieced and elevated with foam squares.
The penguins were stamped on scrap paper, cut apart, colored (rosy cheeks, pale blue/gray on their tummys) and adhered to the card. Of course I changed their positions a few times before settling on the line-up shown (it's the little things that amuse me).
Here's all you need:
Penguin Parade F1945
Presents of Joy D1951
Merry Little Christmas B1943
Even though its 96 degrees and humid today, it felt a little cooler playing in the snow with my favorite penguins.
Happy Friday!
