I wanted to do something other than a card today, so I made an ornament using a Memory Box die.
First, I started with a simple paper mache ornament that I got from a craft store. I painted the whole thing with gesso so that it would take the paint better:
Next I painted the ornament with blue acrylic paint. I let a bit of the gesso show through so that it looked more like sky:
To finish the ornament, I cut out the Cottage in the Woods die (98536) and colored it with markers. I had to cut the die a bit so that I could reassemble it in a way that would fit inside the ornament. To finish the card, I glued in a bunch of white flower soft.
