I really enjoy using "non-traditional" colors for my holiday cards. For this card, I used a Lagoon Note Card, Pool paper along with Currant Distress Dots paper. The end product kind of gives me a tropical Caribbean vibe! {smile}
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of Currant Distress Dots paper 4" X 5 1/4" and adhere to front of Lagoon Note Card.
- Die cut Grand Merry Christmas (98680) from Pool paper. Save the letters for the word “Christmas” to use for another project.
- Adhere a piece of white cardstock behind this piece so that it covers the word “Christmas” then attach to front of card.
- Die cut Pine Border Outline (98674) from Pool paper and Choose a set of three trees and trim around those. Then run through Xyron. Make sure to use a stylus around the edges to make sure all the adhesive sticks.
- Die cut Pine Border Background (98738) from Pool Gingham paper. Attach the "outline" trees over the corresponding trees from the "background" and trim around them.
- Attach the trees to the front of the card using foam tape.
This is just a super simple card that goes together quickly!
