I live in Maine where the Pine Tree is the State Tree. I know I'll have lots of uses for this new stamp-- SMALL FOREST PINE D2011.
For this post I made two quick and easy, clean and simple cards using these supplies and white notecards:
Simple dashed lines drawn with the fine point tip of the Memento Cottage Ivy pen accent the placement of the pine tree and frame an area where I can add a note or a stamped or die cut sentiment later.
Three stamped pines on the card front and a bit of baker's twine make this card super easy to make in multiples. I love the effect of stamping with the five Fresh Greens rainbow Kaleidacolor ink pad. I oriented the stamp so that it picks up the lightest green at the top of the image and the darkest at the bottom. It makes a nice watercolor look with this stamp.
