I keep fighting the urge to break out singing "...walking in a winter wonderland..." whenever I look at this card! Every now and then I come up with a card I consider a happy, sparkly card and this is one. Must be the sweet penguin trio marching through the glittery snow.
The penguins were stamped on white soiree with Memento black ink. I then masked the penguin image and stamped the swirly tree behind them. The snowflakes were stamped using Memento Summer Sky ink. Superfine white glitter was added under the penguins and along the lines of the tree. Red and green tiny jewels were added to the tree with a gold one at the top.
Now comes the slightly tricky part - I inked only the word "joy" from the Ornament Cheer Block stamp before stamoing it onto white paper, which was then cut with a small 1 1/4" circle punch. This white circle was backed with a red one punched with a 1 1/2" circle punch. The tiny red jewels were placed on the tag, which was then added to the card using a dimensional dot. The finishing touch is a sheer dotted red ribbon.
This card is part of my upcoming "Winter Wonderland" class at One Little Spark coming up in November. The class features the new stamps from the Tinsel collection, all created with silver, white and red Soiree paper, and, of course, LOTS of glitter and bling!!

After stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah white paper, it was cut using an oblong Nestability deckled die. The papers for this card are red and silver Soiree. The color scheme is continued with the white gold and red glittered ornaments.
