Just returned from visiting Dad for a few days and found our backyard looking like a mosaic of fallen leaves. Like one of everything was blowing around in a swirl of color. Jean Okimoto, here with a garden-inspired card for you tonight - between those erratic flickering lights and power glitches.

There are so many great watercoloring videos and tutorials out there now – but I just use my favorite Kaleidacolor Multi-color Dye Inkpads. Spritz some watercolor paper with water, then ink a 4” soft rubber brayer with your favorite color combination. Spritz the brayer to blend the inks a bit, then roll them onto the moist paper. Dry the ink, then spritz it with Gold, Pear Tart and Tangelo. Stencil Drip Rings with Lightning Black.
I’ve been using my Craft Mat from Imagine Crafts a lot more than I ever expected to. It’s a great, easily-cleaned surface for spritzing and blending inks - you knew that, right? It’s also the perfect weight and cushioning to place under your cardstock for stamping and stenciling – try it! They’re sold at many retailers – including Impress.
