Here are a couple of cards for fall that also make good guy cards. They feature the FOREST CROWS die no. 99197 which is one of my favorites from the new holiday collection. I wanted to try the crows against embossed and debossed backgrounds, so I made my own embossing "folder" using the GARDEN BARE BRANCHES stencil no. 88556. This stencil may be found in the 2015 Holiday Collection as well.

I made a sandwich for my Big Kick that stacked up like this: Multipurpose Platform open to Tab 1; a piece of thin red rubber next (I got mine from a plumbing repair kit but I know there are light brown mats made for this purpose as well); cardstock; the stencil; and two clear cutting plates. I'm sure there are other ways to stack things up to get the same results. You may need to experiment a bit with whatever machine you have. One side up on the paper gives me the embossed branches and flipped over I get the debossed image. I sponged on some ink to show up the results better.
Now I want to try this technique with some of the other Memory Box stencils!
Happy crafting!
