Good morning everyone. Shelby with you today to bring hopefully just a little cheer to your day.
I pulled out my distress inks (again) to create the background. The colors used were Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass and Hickory Smoke. The texture was added with a stencil and distress paint (antique linen) applied through the stencil. The birds (trio of doves) was cut from watercolor paper using the same colors, but I used the refills instead of the pad which with the same amount of water creates a strong color.
I die cut the Elliana border on some shimmer white linen paper and on top I layered a couple of different butterfly dies. I love to look to see all the different ways I can use the dies and often time, cutting elements from the die gives a lot more flexibility in the use of the die. The sentiment was stamped with Ranger Archival black ink.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit today, and I hope the rest of your week is fantastic
