Happy Friday!
Spring is finally here in Northeastern Ohio, and I couldn't be more happy about that! I just love seeing the green peeking from the dirt, and the flowers coming through to meet the sun. I know I use watercolors a lot for my projects, but I love the effect, and the freedom they give me. I used them here for my Spring card, today.
I started by using the Adelaide Stem die, running it through my Big Shot with water color paper. I then took Peerless watercolors, and colored them in. As they were drying, I created a wash of blue onto a piece of watercolor paper. I let it dry, and then ran it through my die cut machine in between paper to flatten it out.
I adhered a little strip of black and white patterned paper to the side of my panel, adhered the flower stem, and then ran the Happy Birthday Tiles die through, only using the Happy and Day words for my project. To finish it off, I adhered a few black pearls.
Thank you so much for joining me today. Have a great one!
