Hey Memory Box friends. Penny here on day 4 of of our mini blog blitz. Today I am cardmaking with a brand new stamp and die for your summer crafting.
Are the wings done in vellum adorable?!? Lots of fun pulling this card together.
Let's get started:
Start with White card stock measuring 4.25 x 3 inches. Die cut the upper left corner with Honeycomb Corner. (Funny how this die coordinates perfectly with the new Bumblebee Daydreams stamp set). Adhere to Black card stock measuring 4.25 x 5.50 inches. Die cut Swirling Stitches as shown.
Stamp and heat emboss sentiment from the Bumblebee Daydreams set in lower right corner.
Stamp the honeycomb border onto White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Blend Distress inks Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade, then die cut with matching die from the Bumblebee Daydreams set. Adhere across card front with foam adhesive.
Stamp one large bee and two small bees and color with favorite medium, then die cut. Copic markers were used here, but any marker or ink will do. Trim off the wings.
Color a small piece of vellum, stamp the wing area of the bees, then die cut them. Adhere to backside of bees, adhere bees to card front with foam adhesive.
This card just screams summer to me. Cute cards, adorable layouts, picnic invitations....how would you use this Bumblebee Daydreams set?
