Christmas Botanicals Two Ways by Lindsay

Hello!

I am so glad you stopped by today! I have two cards to share with you today, using the fabulous Christmas Botanicals stamp and die sets! If you are familiar with what I create, you will know that I adore, and I do mean adore, florals of all kinds. When I saw this stamp set, I was extremely excited! It is so lovely, and die cuts to match too! Let me show you what I did!

This card took on a life of it's own, I tell ya! I started out with a panel of water color paper, and stamped the wreath image all over it. I then added some details to the open areas, and water colored in the background with blue pigment. Once it dried, I colored in the flowers, and leaves.

When the panel was completely dry, I used the wreath die, and cut out the center image, along with three die cuts from black card stock. I then layered them up, and reinserted it back in the area. I used a piece of vellum to secure it to the panel.

I took a beautiful script sentiment from the set, and white heat embossed it onto a piece of black card stock, and adhered it to the front.

For this next card, I went very simple! I used simple stamping onto colored card stocks, along with the coordinating dies.

I started with the Scattered Flakes Stencil, and added blue ink to the background of my white card base. I then took fuchsia and dark green card stock, stamped the coordinating image in Versamark ink, and white heat embossed them.

After die cutting all of the images, I stamped my greeting, and clustered my flowers, and leaves around it. I finished it with a few black pearls in the flowers centers.

I hope you were inspired today, and gathered a few more ideas on what to do with this gorgeous floral set. Have a great day!
