Bold Merry Christmas by Lindsay

Hello!

Even though it is in the 90's in northeast Ohio, I have Christmas on the brain. These gorgeous stamp and die combinations make it easy to get carried away with making holiday cards! You know I have a slight obsession with the Christmas Botanicals set, and I chose it for today's card. Let me tell you how I created it!

To start, I used one of the small images that is the center of the flowers, to create a background using Versamark, and white embossing powder. After I heat set the images, I blended on shades of blue and green, using an ink blending tool. I then splattered the card with water, and applied a towel to absorb the moisture. I am left with fun texture, along with the white heat embossed detailing.

I set the card base aside, and began working on my floral cluster, stamping my images in a clear sticky ink, and white heat embossing them. I then applied ink again, using a foam ink blending tool, and die cut them out using the matching dies. I white heat embossed my sentiment onto black card stock, trimmed it out, and adhered it, as well as my flower cluster to the front of my colorful card base.

Have you created any Holiday cards yet? I would love to know! I hope you were inspired to try a different color combination using your Memory Box stamps, and dies! Thanks so much for stopping by!
