Hello Memory Box fans!
I know, I know..summer is on its way out, but I am desperate to hold on to it! With Autumn, and Christmas looming, I am about to shock you with a blast of color! So, as a last ode to the loveliness that is this season, I reached back to last release, and picked out this amazing silhouette image. With a bit of ink blending, and a simple die cut, I tried to capture my love for summer.
I started with a white card base, and blended in hues of blue, teal, and green. I spritzed some water onto the front, and daubed it up with a paper towel, achieving a splatter effect. Using the Spring released Wildflower Landscape die, I cut it from white card stock, and adhered it to the bottom of the card front.
Using a sentiment from the May released, Veggie Good set, I white heat embossed it onto black card stock. I trimmed it out, and adhered the block to the front of my card. To finish the card, I adhered a few butterflies, and a dragon fly from the Blooming Chrysanthemum die set.
I added a bit of shimmer to the butterflies, and called it done. Thank you for humoring me and my summer themed card! I think I "might" have gotten it out of my system! Until then, happy crafting!
