Hello, and happy Wednesday!
I have a clean and simple card to share with you today, using the Backyard Tree die. Spring is looking like it's right around the corner where I live, and the thought of buds on the tree sounds lovely to me!
I began with a panel of water color paper, and embossed one of the layering circles from the Pinpoint Circle Layers set. You will have to check how your particular die cut machine does dry embossing! After the circle was impressed, I applied blue ink in a circle motion.
To create the tree, I die cut it twice from water color paper, and left it in the cardstock. I then applied brown ink to one, and green to the other. I then began the process of adhering the green leaves to the brown die cut tree. It took forever, no lie. BUT, I figured it was therapy and I wasn't doing dishes. ;0) The best tip I have is be patient, turn on some music, get your tweezers, and a sticky tool to help pick up the little pieces. Once it was complete, I adhered it to the center of the panel with foam tape, and stamped a sentiment from the So Many Things to Love stamp set. I then adhered a few clear embellishments, and popped it up onto a Kraft card.
Thank you so much for stopping by! So, what is the most tedious card you've created? How long did it take you? I would love to know!
