Hello friends. Penny here today with a Valentine's Day card....using no Red or Pink.!?! In all honesty, I really just wanted to use the new Denim Blues sequins by Birch Press Designs and a red theme would just not work. But who says Valentine's Day has to be about Red? So I am starting a new trend with the Blue. :)
And here we go:
I used a monochromatic theme of Sky Blue cardstock. Make a base, then add the largest of the Wrapped Stitch Frames.
Please note that I have no idea why this picture looks mint green...UGH!
Die cut the smallest of the Wrapped Stitch Frames and Cheery Flower Stems. Adhere the Cheery Flower Stems to the center right of the card front. Add a pinch of Denim Blues sequins, then adhere the small Wrapped Stitch Frame over all of it. Don't forget to add a small panel of acrylic cardstock to back of Wrapped Stitch FrameBEFORE placing over sequins...ask me how I know. (I use two layers of foam adhesive so those sequins move easily).
Die cut "valentine" from the Sentimental Happy Valentine's Day. Position as shown, then stamp rest of greeting from the Wireworks Hearts stamp set using Delicata Sapphire Blue ink.
...and yes I cut the acrylic stamp apart for easier positioning. ")
What colors are using for your Valentine's Day card????
