Greetings friends. I absolutely love the new Llama Llove clear stamp set. It has fun images to color as well as lots of coordinating "punny" sentiments.
For my card today, I wanted to use minimal coloring. I stamped the clouds and llama with black Versafine ink onto 140lb watercolor paper. Next, instead of coloring the entire sky, I added some bright blue watercolor paint around the cloud and used a waterbrush to fade the color to white. For the ground, I gave the impression of ground with green watercolor paint instead of coloring a solid ground. It takes a bit of practice to fade a color to white, but it is definitely worth it because it makes for quick and easy coloring.
For the llama, I added a little grey watercolor paint to the body to give the impression of white fur. I wanted the blanket to be brighter in color, so I colored each section directly with Zig Clean Color Brush markers. Here is a closeup of the llama:
For an even faster card, you could leave off the clouds and simply add the llama with a little ground underneath.
Hope you try adding skies and grounds with a little watercolor paint!
