Happy Weekend! Today I have a bright and fun card that I created with some of my ink cubes and some washi tape. Let's get started!
For my card I wanted to use my ink cubes in another way so I started out with a piece of white paper and some thin washi tape. I took pieces of the tape and put them down at different angles to create a masked off area of diagonal lines. Then starting with the pink ink cube I dragged it over the top left corner of my paper.
I continued dragging the next two colors until they were all as dark as I wanted them. You could also do this part with an ink blending foam for a different look. Once it was how I wanted it I took off the tape and revealed my white lines.
I layered the background on to a pink piece of card stock and then onto a black card base. Some washi tape was added to the front before I added my die cut Sentimental Happy Birthday to the card. It was cut out in black and then I added some clear Wink of Stella pen over it to make it sparkle. I finished it off with some black gems.
Thanks for stopping by the blog, I hope you have a bright and crafty weekend!
