Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Are you enjoying the new release products. They are fun to create with. I especially love all the Script words :) It's hot and sunny here and that calls for pool, beaches and water :)
I wanted to create a CAS card using the smooshing and simple watercolor technique.
I started with a white cardbase. I then die-cut some pieces from the Wave Ribbon Collage die using watercolor paper. I used the negative parts of the die to create waves. I then dabbed various blue distress ink onto my craft mat, spritz some water and added the die-cut stripes to it to get the watercolor effect.
I stamped the fish images onto a watercolor cardstock, colored using the Zig Clean color markers and die-cut using the co-ordinating dies.
I adhered the wave pieces to the cardbase. Now I attached the fishes to it using 3D foam tape.
I die-cut the word two times out of black cardstock and stacked them together. Adhered this to the card.
Here is a close up.
To finish, I adhered some sequins (Fairy Sparkle, Mermaid Tail) from Poppy Stamps.
Hope you got inspired from today's card. Have a wonderful crafty day!
