Have you ever had the best idea ever and when you went to do it- well it just wouldn't work. That is how my day is going. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to make something work that won't. And since it is getting late and I have to get up at 5 and go to work. I gotta scrap the card Idea I had for all of you.
Sooooo.... what you get is my second choice. Something I had in my files that I wasn't planning on posting.
The vase is an ornament punch that I cut the bottom off to make a vase. I stamped the vase using the Lattice background E1263 and white pigment ink. I stamped the orchid branch G1718 with black ink and stamped again on currant morrcan paper and cut out the flowers and mounted to base with pop dots. I added the grass print C1721 with Momento's bamboo leaves ink. I layered this piece onto a piece of distressed dots currant paper that I scallop punched the edge. This was layer over brown paper that was stamped in pigment ink using the Lattice background E1263. All this was place on the base card of recycled brown paper.
It seems kinda wintery dark when all I want to see is soft pastel springy colors. I suppose it can be my farewell to winter card.
Maybe another day and a clearer head will help me to make the other card work.
Good Night Everyone,
