Glitter a Scrollwork Heart Circle Frame and brighten a cold winter day for a special friend or family member. Heart dies don't need to be tucked away once your Valentines are done. Life happens...send a thoughtful, unexpected card to make someone smile.
Hi there - Jean Okimoto here with another reason you'll want the Scrollwork Heart Circle Frame. Use it throughout the year for weddings, anniversaries and baby cards too.
Cut the delicate heart frame from dark gray cardstock. Cut hearts from a portion of a Peony Notecard and Coral Creme cardstock. Cut the 2" inner circle from the light gray cardstock you'll use for the card.
Attach Scor-Tape to a 4" square of light gray cardstock. Cut it with the large outer frame. Remove and save the tape liner. Press the delicate heart frame onto the adhesive - offset to the right. Press the light gray 2" circle onto the center.
Press the Peony and Coral Creme hearts onto the adhesive. Use the saved tapeliner as a press cloth to secure the diecuts. Brush ultrafine iridescent glitter onto the remaining exposed adhesive. Impress Sparkle Glitter is my favorite - we use a lot of it in classes too. It makes everything look better!
Cut the little flowers from dark gray cardstock. Cut the little hearts from a scrap of the Peony Notecard.
Prep dark gray cardstock with the embossing powder tool. Stamp the greeting - from the Best Life Typewriter Sentiments Clear Stamp Set - with VersaMark. Emboss it with detail white powder.
Cut an 11" x 4-¼" piece of light gray cardstock. Score and crease it 4-¼" from one short end. Create the visual impact of a square card - without the extra postage.
Attach everything to the card - use foam dots for the greeting. Add pale peach sequins - or clear sequins colored with a Sharpie.
Hope you'll try this glitter-and-go design. An adhesive-covered background is the fastest, foolproof way to attach delicate diecuts and add glitter at the same time.
Thanks for stopping by...see you again tomorrow!
