Greetings friends. The other day I posted a striped hugs card. While I was making that card, I made several cards using up my pink and red scraps of paper. After all, if you are going to glue strips of paper together, you might as well make several cards at the same time. Right?
For the first card today, I glued my strips of paper to cardstock first and then die cut through the strips at the same time. Here is a close up:
Next, I glued some vellum behind the heart shaped window and glued everything onto magenta cardstock. To finish the card, I added a pink heart to the center, added a rhinestone and then stamped my sentiment.
For the second card, I made two sets of striped paper. The first was red and the second was pink. I cut both using heart dies and then popped the pink heart up with foam tape on top of the red. To finish the card, I stamped my sentiment, cut it out by hand and then popped it up onto the card as well.
