Splash brightly stenciled Drifting Hearts across a pink background and top them with the Hugs Loving Heart. It's a very basic design - just updated in glitter-embossed shades of pink, coral and orange. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a colorful card to warm a winter day.
Brush a 6" x 4-½" rectangle of watercolor paper with a loose, watery layer of Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide. Diecut the two largest hearts from the Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out set from watercolor paper. Paint them with varying amounts of diluted Picked Raspberry too. Dry the painted papers.
Stencil the Drifting Hearts with overlapping, random inks - Rose Bud Memento Luxe and Radiant Neons in Electric Pink, Electric Orange and Electric Coral. Work quickly so the inks don't dry - then emboss it with Iridescent Mboss from Imagine Crafts. Trim the rectangle with the 5" x 3-¾" Rectangle Basics die and round the corners.
Cut Hugs Loving Heart from white and dark pink cardstock. Layer the diecuts - slightly offset - for dimension. Attach them to the two watercolored hearts.
Attach the diecuts to a white A-6 card. Add dark coral gem stickers.
For a different look...use mixed shades of red cardstock instead of pink watercolored paper. Stencil the Drifting Hearts with VersaMark and emboss it with detail clear powder. Attach everything to a Kraft card and add silver gemstickers.
Thanks for visiting...see you next week!
