Hello there. Once again this month’s May Flowers challenge was what inspired my card today. I did a super easy inking technique on the beautiful Chrysanthemum Field 3D embossing folder (EF) from the Spring collection to create it.
Using a rubber brayer, the flat side of the EF was inked with dye inks in rainbow colors. Inserted a piece of Bristol paper into the EF and ran it through my Big Shot machine and voila!
Seriously, that’s it! I went with a rainbow palette, but you could simplify the process even further by using fewer colors.
A couple of sentiments from Wild Rose Stem stamp set were white heat embossed on black cardstock and trimmed into strips. A few clear sequins and clear shimmer spritz to the entire card finished it off (couldn’t capture the sparke).
Since I had the supplies out, I made a couple more thank you cards, but with the Magnificent Sunflower 3D EF and only three ink colors for each.
The May Flower challenge ends on May 30 EST, so lots of time to enter. Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful week!
