Dies and papers from the Spring Collection make it easy to create fresh cards for every occasion. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with another flowers+plaid idea. The colors Dave chose for the Spring Plaid, Madras Plaid Red+Green and Madras Plaid Blue+Violet offer so many design options for spring and summer projects.
Remove the green plaid sheet carefully from the pack - place the open pack on a hard surface and press firmly along the center line to loosen it, then carefully wiggle the sheet out. The 6-⅜" x 1-⅜" die from the new Slim Basic Rectangle Layers fit perfectly if you include the extra length at the top.
Cut the green sheet from the 6x6 Lush Green Collection with the narrowest Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangles die.
Cut two sets of Layered Fresh Flowers from the two shades of the darkest yellow sheets in the 6x6 Sunny Orange Collection. Cut two of the starburst-style centers from the gold 6x6 Polished Foil pack sheet.
Cut a 1" x 4-½" strip of the yellow Frosted Glitter Pad sheet.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Joyful Moments Clear Stamp Set - on white cardstock with Shady Lane VersaFine Clair. Dry the ink and cut it with the 1-¾" Circle Basics die. Cut a green circle for an offset layer behind the greeting.
Attach everything to a white slimline card (3-⅝" x 8-½"). Punch ¼" circles of the green Frosted Glitter Pad sheet.
Thanks for all of your Instagram likes and comments for the coral plaid and Seed Stems version of this basic design. Mix and match - or contrast - the different colors and plaids in our Spring Collection with the new floral dies. Add the sparkle of glitter and shimmery Polished Foil highlights too!
Thanks for visiting...have a great weekend!
