I need a lot of cards to send out to guys this month and the new TOOL SHED EMBOSSING FOLDER EF 1019 is perfect!
materials used
- white notecards
- CHRISTMAS PLAID PP1009 6X6 papers
- EARTH NEUTRAL COLLECTION SP1009 charcoal 6X6 cardstock
- TOOL SHED EMBOSSING FOLDER EF1019
- sanding block
- tape runner; Scor-Tape
- black and white gingham ribbon
- black pearls
I still have quite a lot of Christmas Plaid paper left from the holidays because I love the plaids and bought so many pads of it. I took plaids that I thought worked well with the embossed charcoal paper and that had a masculine feel to them.
I chose one of the darkest colors in the Earth Neutral Collection to use with the Tool Shed Embossing Folder. Using a sanding block on the embossed image reveals bits of white which adds interest and highlights details on the various tools.
The simplest card has the red plaid paper behind the embossed panel.
The next one has a green/black/thin red stripe plaid behind the embossed panel with a ribbon tied around the folded edge.
The most involved card has the black and white check background behind the embossed panel with another strip of the plaid on top, finished with a gingham bow and some black pearls.
To change things up a bit on a few more cards, I used the new WHITE WOODGRAIN PAPER SH44001 with the Tool Shed embossing folder.
These all-occasion cards are just what I need for my card stash in May. And leftovers can be used for Father's Day cards in June!
Happy Crafting!
