Hi, all! Are you revving up for the Superbowl?! I live in Indianapolis - just four miles away from Superbowl Village - and the place is about ready to spontaneously combust from sheer anticipation, I think. The most noticeable difference to me is the repeated helicopter flights over our house.
I'm planning on watching the game, but I'll be making some simple and easy cards while I do it. Here's one that's very easy to recreat and can be done in a variety of ways - just switch out the papers, dies, and/or sentiments, and you get a whole different card!
S U P P L I E S:
Cardstock: (Sage, Cherry Blossom, Peapod, Dill) Memory Box; Patterned Paper: (Brioche) Memory Box; Rubber stamps: (Happy Birthday Candle, Mail Definition Background) Memory Box; Dye ink: (Peeled Paint) Ranger Industries, (Red Magic) VersaFine; Accents: (buttons) SEI; Fibers: (embroidery floss) DMC; Dies: (Moonlight Butterfly) Memory Box; Tools: (Vagabond) SIzzix
I N S T R U C T I O N S:
- Make card from cardstock.
- Cut peapod panel and stamp Mail Definition.
- Cut sage panel and die cut butterfly from center.
- 1-2-3: Adhere patterned paper to back of sage panel; adhere sage panel to peadpod panel; adhere peapod panel to card.
- Stamp sentiment.
- Thread buttons and adhere with glue dots.
- Adhere butterfly body.
And there you have it!
Don't forget! Starting tomorrow we'll be hosting a week-long blitz with drawings EVERY DAY to give away some of the awesome new releases (which will be revealed at this time as well)! Somebody has to win all this cool stuff, and it might as well be you! So come on down!!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!
