It has been so fun seeing how the other DT members have used the new Whisper Print stamps! The colors and creations have been spectacular! I decided to try using the same stamps using very little color--kraft, white, and mocha. Here is how my card turned out:
Papers: Memory Box mocha notecard, Memory Box kraft paper
Stamps: Memory Box Whisper Print Daisy F1863, Memory Box Whisper Print Geranium G1864, Memory Box Whisper Print Wilflower E1865, Memory Box Just a Note B1053
Stamp Ink: Tim Holtz Distress embossing ink, Ranger seafoam white ep
Embellishments: Poppystamps simple banner die 836, Memory Box white pearl stickers, May Arts twine, misc. burlap
And to create this card:
1. Trim a 3 1/4" square piece of burlap, and attach to the center of a mocha notecard.
2. Cut four 1 1/4" kraft squares.
3. Using embossing ink, stamp the Whisper Print Daisy F1863, Whisper Print Geranium G1864 (2x), and Whisper Print Wildflower E1865 on each of the squares cut in Step 2.
4. Emboss each flower with white embossing powder, and attach each square to the burlap on the card.
5. Using the stem of the Whisper Print Geranium G1864 stamp, stamp the stem onto kraft paper using embossing ink and emboss with white embossing powder. You will use this piece to die cut the banner so that it will be decorative.
6. Use the Poppystamps Simple Banner die {836}, die cut your banner using the image created in Step 5, and then attach to the top left corner of your card.
7. Using embossing ink and white powder again, stamp the Memory Box Just a Note B1053 sentiment in the lower right corner.
8. Add a bow and Memory Box pearls to finish.
Please remember to leave a comment on this blog post for your chance to win one of the new dies! Thanks for stopping by!
