Hello Dear Stamper Friends:
Today, I am sharing with you this magical snowy scene, made out with some beautiful dies and The "Winter Cabin" stamp.
In this busy time of the year, we need simple cards, quick to reproduce and pretty… I think, this one is a good candidate for this because you can create several of them without spending a huge amount of your time and yet giving the illusion that you did…
Just stamp, die cut, assemble and embellish!
THE KEY: do them in an assembly line mode, have all your pieces of paper cut to size and run them all at the same time in your die cut machine, *(you will need to add the extra metal shim to your sandwich when die cutting) then follow some of these steps and there you have it: “A Fanciful Christmastime Landscape”…ready to be sent…
NOTE: Protect your card by adding an extra layer of “thin foam packaging cushioning paper” to protect the rhinestones when mailing it!
TIP: re-use the extra packaging materials that you have in the house when you order from other companies: cardboard, kraft paper, thin cushioning paper…but if you need to buy them I found them at Uhaul, Fed Ex or any store carrying moving protective supplies
Instructions:
1- Stamp:
-w/ green “the cabin” on a square white CS*
(little bigger than the snow globe die)
2- Die Cut;
- the “snowflake” border die (in white)
ALL these 4 pieces at the same time (to save time)
- the globe (in white, already stamped)
- the base (in green glitter paper)
- the leaves (in green CS*)
- the stars (in silver glitter paper)
3- Assemble
4- Embellish:
- Add Flocking or Glitter to roof and ground on globe scene
(tip: use a heavy coat of glossy accents and then add flocking, this will give extra “dimension” to the roof)
- Add with Gold leaf pen and Stickles some stars
