Hello everyone,
I am an avid scrap booker and was very excited to see the new alphabets in the latest release. There are four new alphabets that are larger that those in previous releases. Check them out here. The project I am sharing is a scrapbook page that I made using the Large Classic alphabet (#98435, #98436, #98437) and several snow related dies. It's snowy and pretty here in New England and these dies were calling me. The photo is a picture I took of my son on Christmas day after all of the presents and stockings were opened, breakfast was enjoyed and cleaned up and it was time to relax until company arrived later that evening. One of the rare moments like this during the busy holiday season. You can see the Frosty Border die (#98171) cut out of white card stock used as accents on the layout.
Here is a close up of the alphabet. I cut the letters from the red snowflake paper and shadowed them by cutting the letters again from black card stock and adhering the black letters slightly askew behind the red letters. This helps the letters pop and stand out better on the layout.
