Today I wanted to share a card I created for you today and also for the new Memory Box blinkie. On this card, I was able to use three of the new Memory Box releases: the Felicity Frame die {98519}, the Fresh Foliage die {98502}, and the new Filled with Love stamp {B1906}.
Papers: Memory Box cranberry nc and cs, Paper Trey Ink white cs, misc. dictionary paperStamp: Memory Box Filled with Love B1906
Stamp Ink: SU chocolate chip
Dies: Memory Box Felicity Frame 98519, Memory Box Fresh Foliage 98502
Embellishments: SU Fancy Fan embossing folder, misc. burlap, Hug Snug hand-dyed seam binding using Glimmer Mist suede and latte and Heidi Swapp bronzer
To cut the Fresh Foliage die, I used scrap cardstock to back the thin, old dictionary paper. I posted a tip on how to cut very thin paper using intricate dies. You can find it on my Memory Box blog here. I hope you find the tip helpful!
For the center of my card, I cut the Felicity Frame die twice--once using white cardstock, and once using Memory Box cranberry cardstock. I used the center cut from the cranberry cardstock, embossed it, and then put it into the center of the white frame. It created a nice effect.
The Filled with Love stamp is stamped on the same, old dictionary paper used for foliage die cut.
I hope you have enjoyed my creation today. Be sure to grab the new Memory Box blinkie and add it to your blogs. The code is on the left-hand side of the blog here for you to use. Also, leave your comments on each post this week because you may be the winner of some of the new 2013 dies! Thanks for stopping by!
