Happy Friday everyone! Yes, you saw a Christmas card. I know it is 90 degrees here and I'm thinking of Christmas. I have a monthly Christmas Card Class, and I thought I would share one of the cards from this month's class. The faux chalkboard look is so popular now and I thought this "Vintage Merry Christmas" stamp #C1873 would work well for this technique.
Instructions:
- Stamp saying with Versa Mark Ink and emboss using white embossing powder.
- With a sponge, lightly rub white ink on the edge of the cardstock and around the words. This will look like chalk dust.
- Die cut the Mansfield Frame from White cardstock. Ink frame lightly with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
- Layer stamped image onto Licorice Gingham Paper.
- Glue 2 strips of red ribbon under the stamped image.
- Adhere frame on top of the stamped image.
- Glue on a red bow and pearls to frame.
I hoped you enjoyed the Christmas Card!
