I have to confess my garden is a bit of a jungle, but it sure attracts all sorts of birds and butterflies. I can look out my window of my studio and see all sorts of beautiful butterflies flitting here and there. It is so peaceful.
Today's CAS card is inspired by all those butterflies in my yard. I die cut "floating butterflies background" # 98991 twice. I took the die cut and using copic markers, I colored the butterflies with an ombre effect. I embossed them using the "garden peony blossoms" stencil # 88530. I mounted the negative piece on my card base and fit the butterflies back in the open die space.
Here is another card, but this time I embossed the base piece.
This is a great technique that you can easily use with other dies.
Thanks for peeking!
