Good Morning Crafty Friends,
It's almost the end of another great week, hope you have enjoyed all the wonderful posts here on the "Outside the Box" blog. The Summer release has fantastic designs---don't you agree?
It's interesting to see different card designs even when we create with the same dies--hope it gives you inspiration and ideas for multiple uses. Clearly several of us were drawn to the Wicker Panel die---especially me!
Today's card combines the dramatic combination of 'Granny Smith Green' and bold black, with a few accent colors. It was fun to create, I hope you enjoy...
I die cut the Tremain Square in white, colored just the flowers with markers, then snipped them off to add to the black Tremaine Square. Fine tip tweezers come in handy for this part.
Also, a panel of black polka dot paper was added inside the front cover to "back" the butterfly opening. I added more black polka dot paper inside to coordinate with the overall color scheme. I like to add something inside the card to complement the front of the card.
I isolated the "Hello" on the stamp using a marker over just that word and keeping the rest of the stamp uninked.
Here are the Memory Box dies, papers and stamp used:

Happy Friday!
