Jenny here with a note of thanks to share today. I like to keep 'thank you cards' on hand just to be ready since sometimes I can't get to my craft room to create one quick enough. This one went to someone I had never met but showed great kindness to me and my family. It was unexpected and I was happy to give this card which I enjoyed making and loved the way it turned out.
One of my favorite clear sets from the new release is this Thank You Sentiments set. It's not a large set but it has just the right sentiments to say 'thank you'. This is just one variation using this versatile set. Also, don't overlook the cute stars included in the set---they sure hit the spot with the Leafy Ring die.
I embossed the stars and sentiments in gold and layered a lavender paper panel behind the ring to show off the beautiful cut outs. The Leafy Ring is what I call a 'negative die cut'. The pieces removed by the die cut are pretty but the best part is the design that remains...now that makes a 'negative' a 'positive' really!
I added a few of the new leaves from the Stitched Leaves die set, which I love as each leaf has cute pin dots or stitching detail.
Several gems and pearls dressed up the beautiful Leafy Ring and this card was ready for it's new home, with my thanks.
