Hello!

Before I begin, I just wanted to let you know that this will be my last post for Memory Box. Life has taken me in another direction, and I have found I just cannot devote the time and attention to card making like I used to do. I am so appreciative of your comments, and kindness these last two years, as I shared my projects with you. I will leave you with a clean and simple Thank you!

The Floral Fantasy Frame is a must have. I just had to do an inlay technique with it the moment I saw it! However, I must warn you! Proceed with plenty of time in mind. Guys, this took a ridiculous amount of time, not to mention patience, and good lighting! I began my taking four panels of white card stock, and inking them with yellow, teal, pink, and purple inks, using a sponge dauber. I then ran them through my die cut machine, using the Frame. I sat them aside, and die cut a white frame, to which I adhered it to a white card base.

Once the frame was adhered, I began inserting the pieces from the colored panels into the open flowers on my card base. I alternated my colors, and then added a black center to each flower. For my sentiment, I chose the Perky Thank You die, and cut it three times from black card stock, and once from white. I then layered them together, and adhered them to the center of the card.

To save a bit of time, and ink on your fingers, you could certainly use plain colored card stocks instead. I just preferred the soft inked look that the blending gave. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Until we meet again in card blog land, don't stop creating, and have a wonderful day!
