Hi Friends!
Today is the final day of our Memory Box Halloween Blitz---guess that means I'm bringing up the rear. Hope you have enjoyed a daily dose of Halloween fun with the new dies and I am happy to introduce my favorite new die...Whimsy Mummy. His pose just cracks me up and I love the embossed detail of his mummy wrap. Looks like he's up to some mischief, doesn't it? Yes, I think he's raiding the pumpkin patch...
I die cut our mummy friend from pale ivory paper, left the die in place and lightly chalked the exposed paper areas in grey. After removing the paper from the die, the bandage lines really stand out.
I die cut the Curved Stitched Hilltops twice (end to end) into the green distressed dot paper, adhered it to the Concord Grape notecard then pieced the fence line (two pieces, end to end) onto the hilltop. Where the fences meet it is slightly crooked so the pumpkin patch was placed there.
The harvest moon was die cut, sponged and positioned in the corner and the overlap areas were trimmed off.
The pumpkins were inked with copic markers on the stems and seams and the Playful Boo added just for fun.
Another fun embellishment on this card is the brand new star sequins from the Festival of Lights pack by Birch Press Design.
I only used stars from this assortment but there are gorgeous blue (round/cupped) and tiny clear flower sequins in the package too. There are 18 new assortments and all come in cute little round metal tins...check them out here
Now for the important announcement...
