Greetings friends. Today I wanted to play with the new 6" x 6" patterned paper pack called Garden Folly. I love my coordinated papers!
To make the card, I started by cutting stripes on the side using the Diagonal Stripe Collage die. I chose a patterned paper with white roses and green leaves to shine through.
For the center part of the card, I cut out the rose outline using green leafy paper from the pack and added blue wavy paper for underneath the rose outline. The die set comes with the rose trio outline as well as a solid rose trio to layer under the outline. It makes it really easy to assemble since to don't have to paper piece each petal inside the rose outlines. To show off the rose design, I cut out a cream circle and then layered everything on top of it. Here is a close up:
As a finishing touch, I popped up my center circle with foam tape and added a sentiment with teal ink.
