Shrinkarttag

One of my favorite things about teaching classes is when students bring their own show and tell.  That way I get to learn something new, too!  One of the ladies from Prairie Art Stamps in Springfield, Illinois shared her shrink art tag with me last week.  The artist, Gina Growe, stamped the Lightbulb Reindeer on a piece of white polsyhrink, colored it, shrunk it, then adhered to the inside of a bottle cap.  I must confess, having worked with the Snowglobe stamp quite a bit this summer, that I forgot other, larger stamps could also be used in smaller spaces.  What a refreshing, and festive, reminder!  Use these little tags on gift bags and boxes - a great way to use up scraps of papers, too!  I'll be teaching Colored Pencil, Watercolor and Bookbinding workshops at Eclectica Scrapbooks & Stamps in Memphis on August 21 & 22.  If you are joining me for those classes, PLEASE bring some show and tell!
